How to use Creative t6160 5.1 surround speaker with macbook.?
I googled a lot and it seems that to use macbook with 5.1 speaker systems, I have to use toslink cable. But I don't see any toslink audio input in the back of the speaker. If it is possible please help me with the connections I have to do.
Your speakers do not have any sort of digital input and thus you won't be able to take advantage of all the speakers without some sort of external sound card. I don't think the MBP has any sort of PC or PCI express slots so you'll need to buy a DAC, most of which are more expensive than your speakers.
